Pancake Night

Today was really nice, weather wise. The best day we've had in a while. To celebrate we had pancake night!

Dear Blogging world, if you didn't know already, this is Adam.

Adam played soccer today, we went to a super delicious barbecue and then just lounged around the house. Adam went to get some last minute groceries and I put on our recent antique fair buy: an Ella Fitzgerald record.

 

and onto cooking:

My first kitchen wreck here. Ah, pre-married life. I'm not a bad pancake maker, its just that we got this new waffle shaped pancake pan. I don't think I understand how to use it yet (obviously). I ruined an entire batch of pancakes by turning it into a flaky mish-mashed junk.

And now, proof that I am, in fact, one of the best pancake makers ever:

And to show off: my little curio shelf actually hung. I haven't filled it yet, only a couple of empty spots left!
